Our Mission

Stewarding God's Creation Sustainably

We believe that it is our responsibility to be good stewards of God’s creation.  At Field of Blessings Farm it is our mission to ensure that we steward our land and animals in such a way that our farming practices protect and benefit our animals, our environment, and our community in a concerted effort to ensure a more sustainable future.

We are proud to be given the privilege to use the QDPQuality Dairy Producer logo through Langston University’s American Institute for Goat Research for completing their Dairy Goat Certification Program (2019).

We are members of the ADGA PLUS Performance Programs.  We participate in DHIA and Linear Appraisal through the ADGA.  We also participate in DNA testing of our bucks to prove parental lineage and to determine alpha casein status.

We are a Certified Wildlife Habitat with the National Wildlife Federation.  Our Certified Wildlife Habitat® ID is: 286226.

We are proud to be members of the American Goat Society.  As of 2021 we are excited to announce that we will be participating in DHIA testing through AGS, in addition to the ADGA.

We are proud to be members of The Livestock Conservancy.  We purchased our Welsh Harlequin Ducks which were on the Threatened List but has moved up to the Watch List and our Tufted Roman Geese because they are Critically Endangered List.  

We are proud to notify 4H, FFA, and JLGA Families that we participate in the Louisiana Bred Program through our membership in the LMGA.

We are proud members of The Nature Conservancy doing our part to participate in the conservation of wildlife and nature and being advocates to protect our natural world.
