Our sweet Molly is a lovable girl and one of the first progeny in our herd of Sinai Thunder O Eliezer. She is compact little girl built just like her dam and although small, she has nice width and girth. We are were so excited when her dam got her milk star for both butterfat and protein after her first kidding. We were anticipating an exceptional outcome in her udder size and shape and milk production based on the genes passed on my both her sire and dam and she did not disappoint. She had a lovely capacious udder and is one of our quickest milkers. Unfortunately, as with others in our milking herd, in the years of her DHIR participation our milk testing faltered greatly due to circumstances that impacted consistency in milking our herd. As a result, we can’t accurately determine her milk production status. But I do believe if we would have been able to keep up with milking, she would have followed in her dam’s footsteps. In the 2025 Kidding Season we hope that we will be able to participate in DHIR so that Molly can have the opportunity to finally get her milk star.
