Clair is one of the first progeny that we had from our sire Sinai Thunder O Eliezer (Eli). We brought Eli to our herd as part of our continued path to improve genetic lines in our herd. Both of Eli’s parents we classified as Superior Genetics through the ADGA. We wanted to improve upon Clair’s dam, who was more narrow in conformation than we anticipated and improve upon her dam’s milk production. Clair’s conformation was definitely improved upon but as a first freshener, but we were disappointed in her milk production. Unfortunately, in the years of her DHIR participation, our milk testing faltered greatly due to circumstances that impacted consistency in milking our herd. As a result, we can’t accurately determine her milk production status. As, we have begun to scale down our farm size, we chose not to breed her for the 2024 and 2025 breeding seasons.
