We were excited to have purchased Penni from Garret Berry owner of GTB Farm. In working to increase the genetic diversity of our herd and improving on udders and milk production, Penni was one of the two new does we brought into our herd in 2019 with the anticipation of bringing those components to our herd.

Penni is a very nice compact doe, but along with her compactness she still has a nice girth and wide escutcheon. She has a nice capacious udder, but we do wish her teats would have become a little larger. However she has nice sized teat orifices and milks out quickly. In her first kidding, Penni had our first set of quads in the spring of 2021, and she was a wonderful dam to all of them as a first freshener! She is an excellent mom. We were also so excited that Penni earned her milk star with her first kidding! She has continued to be an excellent producer.

We retained one of her dams from our 2021 kidding and are looking forward to seeing what she will bring to the herd!
